I love this painting of the corner of St. Peter and Royal Streets. It makes me homesick! It is the new featured painting in New Orleans Images.

Artist's Description

(The original is on "hold.")
This building in the center of the French Quarter is called the Pedesclaux- Le Monnier House by historians. It was once known as the skyscraper, because it was the first four-story building in the town. Completed in 1811.
